Thanks. Don't know how much if anything I can add here but there is plenty for me to read and hopefully apply to make myself better.

Hi! I am not Special forces, but my Battalion supported a team at our basecamp in Tay Ninh Vietnam in 1969-70, and I got to respect the team members. We seldom saw them cause they were usually out doing their thing. I served 22+ years active duty and went back to school after retirement and earned a PhD which I used to develop and design training materials for the military, including material for the Special Forces Schools. I welcome the opportunity to be a part of this website and contribute what I can to support the members of our Armed Forces serving now or those who have served. I seems we are the only ones who truly know that without a strong, capable military, the Freedoms we enjoy in this country are constantly in peril. We must always carry that "Big Stick".

Great site; thanks for letting me look around. Thanks for all you guys do.
Salt is a very good friend, and I'm glad you made it over here. Among other things, he was one of the people who sat me down and convinced me to take the route I'm currently on.

To a good friend and respected comrade in arms: welcome aboard!!

Newbie here too. Just found this site today, thanks Ambush Master. No military background, just a LEO looking forward to asking questions and learning all I can from you guys.

And before I forget I just wanted to state the following that pretty much sums up my attitude... "No, I have not been there, nor done that, and I do have a plain all white t-shirt to prove it".

Damn... that even gave me a 'cold shiver' way down here in swamp and mosquito land.

hello, I'm new

Hello

I'm very new here (first post)

Thought I'd say hello and tell a little about myself

14 years in the Canadian Armed Forces

Started in Armoured Recce, then went to Assault Troop.

Wound up in the CF Intelligence Branch. I'm now retired and working in private security in Toronto, Canada

The site looks great and I'm quite looking forward to being a guest on the site.
Thanks for having me here.
