I am not a 2L,, but the kid has baggage that maybe his downfall..
under-aged 17YO crosses state line with illegal (to him) weapon
Spent a lot of time watching the personal videos and pictures from rioters of all three shootings by Kyle.
1)chased by a rioter, fires warning shot, rioter throws Molotov Cocktail,, rioter shot in the head. by-the-by rioter is a convicted sex offender.
2)chased again by rioters, taken down by flying kick and bashing with a skateboard by a rioter, returns fire, point-blank to chest
3)within 3 sec, another rioter approaches with a pistol in hand, the rioter gets shot in the arm.
PS: A BIG Thank You to all the rioters for the gallant effort(S) at providing 1st person POV of the action..

The incumbents in these cities must “own this” come Election Day and beyond. Let’s see if Trump drops the hammer tonight.
This is but a glimpse into the future for the entire nation if the socialists rise to power. This is such a toxic mix of behavior from the street to the halls of Congress that there will be confrontation. It will not be pretty.

Surprise surprise, the next day protest turns totally peaceful after those who’ve grown accustomed to burn, loot, and murder without repercussion got a lesson 101 in “do not bring a skateboard to a gunfight “
Our successful participants (and one failure) in the room temperature challenge belong to the people's revolution movement of milwaukee
When mob mentality met reality.
Their gofundme pages paint a different perspective of course. So does wapo.
Hopefully the flying kick thug looks back at how close he got from getting ventilated and reflects on his life choices

I don’t know what I’d do yet but have played this over and over in my head with “what if’s”. One of those scenarios is pulling my pistol out and pointing into the face of the loudest asshole, and asking if they continue to assault me we can escalate this to self-protection of an outnumbered hostile force.

But their ilks are already recording and waiting for just such reaction, brandishing etc.
I probably just ignore them like petulant toddlers ....well, until they swing bicycle lock of course

Yup. Just being out there when he doesn’t live there is baggage. There are so many more facts that will come out that will drive the narrative - on both sides of the situation.
If the past is any guide this kid and his family are about to experience hell.
The fact is, there should have been law enforcement out there in force - not some wet behind the ears kid attempting to stop rioters (that’s not a knock on his demonstrated survival skills - just that the situation was chaotic, complex and not necessarily appropriate for a 17 year old to sort out).
Lack of leadership at the local level is driving the chaos (political, law enforcement and DA’s). These three groups (combined with federal help if accepted) - with everyone on the same page about shutting down the violence...night 1. Well, they’d just tell the kid to “go home we got this.”
ETA just saw Tucker Carlson’s succinct tweet on the subject...IMO it captures the moment...the lack of local leadership owns this in EVERY city.
Tucker Carlson
@TuckerCarlson
Kenosha devolved into anarchy because the authorities abandoned the people. Those in charge, from the governor on down, refused to enforce the law. They’ve stood back and watched Kenosha burn. Are we really surprised that looting and arson accelerated to murder?

The 3 shot (2 killed) in #Kenosha, Wisc. at the BLM riot have been identified.
1). Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, was the first one killed. Video allegedly shows him chasing teen shooter & throwing something at him. Rosenbaum was a registered sex offender for a sex crime involving a minor.
2). Anthony Huber, 26, was shot & killed in Kenosha, Wisc. at the BLM riot. He was filmed chasing down the armed teen and hitting him when he was on the ground with a skateboard. He has a criminal history that includes charges of battery & repeat domestic abuse. #KenoshaRiots
3). The third who was shot (& survived) is Gaige Grosskreutz, 26. He's a member of the People’s Revolution Movement. He was filmed chasing after the teen w/a pistol. He was shot at close-range in the upper arm. He has a criminal record that includes being intoxicated & armed w/a gun.

I suspect that many in the crowd have multiple criminal convictions.
These street thugs committing violence need to rounded up, arrested, and held with no bail. No slap on the wrist sentences either.
These folks are a proven danger to a civil society and should be treated as such.

ANSWERS: & QUESTIONS:
We know the answers to why this ,ANARCHY, is happening in the liberal, radical, progressive cities...THE QUESTION IS When is the silent majority, grass roots right going to STAND UP & BE COUNTED... WE ARE AT WAR, NOW....The shooting has commenced, I thought it would hold off until November 3, 2020.

Typical accurate assessment from Carlson, although I disagree with the highlighted portion because - in the narrative of this especially - words matter. The perpetrators of these types of crimes have been shown in the past to murder. What happened with Kyle Rittenhouse was Kyle Rittenhouse defending himself. There is a difference, and Tucker knows that.
To his larger point I'd simply say that, clearly, the moment (and it happens early on these days) the civil authority concedes the citizens' real-estate to the feral & tribal marauders then the insurgency has achieved one of their objectives. They've made the local government look powerless. And it accomplishes nothing but to embolden them. "Hey look, the Mayor and the pasty-faced whimp governor and "our Bro" the Lt. Gov have given us the streets!" (Except for the HS kid who drives 15 miles to standup with some older guys and say 'No'.)

It’s just one of the “what if” scenarios.

Tucker could have conflated Seattle CHOP events and the same night as this (Kenosha shooting) in Seattle protesters tried to burn down a police station with people inside by jamming doors of escape. That is pretty much attempted murder!

I read Tucker’s comments as suggesting that once the authorities in charge cede the public space to looting and arson...are murders really far behind ?
He was not calling the kid a murderer - but making the logical inference that a natural escalation from authorities foolishly allowing criminals to dominate the public space to commit arson...
...is death in the same public space such a giant leap ?
In the heat of battle sometimes one’s choice of words could be more polished - and hindsight is 20/20.
I really have no idea what Tucker meant to say - so I’m gonna go watch the Kristi Noem commercial on my TV now. I may even watch that commercial again.

Your excellent taste is noted, sir!
No matter what happens in November, there are some folks that are ready for 2024, like her & Ric Grennell. The Dead Elephant party needs to completely GTFO of the way.
