I don't mean to pry, but I do a ton of microwave paths for cellular phone companies (making sure I can read a map better than satellites) in my civilian job. I was curious if Matta Mile is congruent with the "Matta Mile" on the Roswell Relief Route. My Google foo is strong, but if it is the same mile marker and sign I remember, BTDT. Not a bad stretch of road. Most of the produce markets , you can keep though. “A” for effort atleast.

The "Matta Mile" area is an area just south of Smoke Bomb Hill where SF units took PT. The old trails are still there, just getting crowded by civilization. Took PT there my own darn self many a time in the 70s and 80s.

Hello,
My name is Kyle, im 24, and Im getting ready to leave for basic in four weeks. Im enlisted in the 18x program. Im not really here to do a whole lot of talking; just to learn anything i can before i leave. I've quit all my jobs so i can focus soley on getting ready physically and mentally; the only work i do now is instructing little children in jiu jitsu at a local dojo twice a week. I cant wait to ship to basic and would appreciate any advice anyone is willing to offer me. Thank you

Welcome, Kyle. First thing I would do is focus on punctuation and capitalization. If you're too lazy to press the 'shift' key then you probably won't make a 2 mile run.

Hello, I'm an AF IDMT with the 352 SOG in England. I started looking at the site for medical articles and such. I figured I should join and introduce myself.
I have been learning as much as I can about Army SOF units since coming to the 352. We have been working with the 1/10 recently and we are trying expand that relationship, helping were we can.
Thanks for all you do.

New guy here.
Active duty Navy from 2000-2005 and now in the USNR and will be heading to Iraq February 16, 2007.
I was stationed in Peurto Rico for 3yrs where I met a few guys from 7th Group Special Forces (C3/7). Awesome guys! Very smart and very professional. They allowed me and some guys to come out to the range and pick up on some great training. A buddy from P.R., eventually left the Navy and last I heard was fininshing language school in the SF pipeline.
After I return from Iraq I plan on going back active duty for BUD/S.

Good Evening, Gentlemen
and any other Ladies who may be present. I'm new and a civilian here. I'll try not to spill anything or trip over the furniture. Next time I'll bring beverages and snacks. Just here as an observer and to send a couple of PMs.
Edit by Razor: If normal text size and style is good enough for everybody else in the intro thread, its probably good enough for you, too.
