Lol, I just started looking at Crimson Trace online last night.
This getting old sucks - especially when I used to have legitimate tested 20/10 vision. But, I'm not above using technology if it really helps - was a little surprised at how 'spensive those green lasers are. Should probably do a search on here.

They're worth the money in my book. If it's dark and you stick your Surefire up next to your ear and make his face light up with a little dot on his mustache, I reckon it's checkmate.

Casio Illuminator- $12.99 at Wallyworld. I like that it's flat and not bulky. Very lightweight. Does everything I need: time, stopwatch, and alarm.
For the two days a year I put on dress clothes I have a Reactor Titanium Trident. Very lightweight as well.

Nah, I'm prolly there...these progressives may be great for driving (not so great for driving at night the reflections from headlights particularly suck...but that's another story) and reading - but I began thinking about when I hear that proverbial bump in the night and might not have the specs on. Or, the specs get knocked off...various locations and scenarios...thanks for your endorsement/opinion of CT.
To get back on topic as I'm a guest...Ball watch or Casio or TAG depending on circumstances/occasion. I learned about the Ball brand from a comment on here year's ago. Nice tritium.
If you look - learn something new here most every day !

Which Ball do you have? I like the Nighttrain and the Physician's Chronograph of which I own neither unfortunately. Can't seem to break away from Omega.

Just a Fireman - simple face, easy to read and great tritium for aging eyes.
◆ 14 micro gas tubes on hour and minute hands and dial for night reading capability
◆ Hours, minutes, sweep seconds and date
Shock resistance
◆ 5,000Gs
Water resistance
◆ 100m / 330ft
They really have some nice high end stuff, too.
Mine was a gift from wife.
Got a fair price from a great jeweler.

I have the Physicians Chronograph. Excellent watch, simple and elegant. The tritium tubes are almost bright enough to read by It is self winding and only last about 48 hours if you aren't wearing it. (I have several Seikos, a Tag, Citizen, Luminox, Wenger etc and the Ball is my favorite)

I'll have to check - but I thought mine were top of the line. They sure were spendy enough to be top of the line. I do not believe that they were Transition lenses. Anti-reflective, anti scratch, Flexon frames, etc., etc., for some reason I thought they were Varilux lenses.
I HATE wearing glasses - but not as much as I HATE not seeing shit. I tried contacts last year for about a day - my fat sausage fingers didn't like my eyes - I nearly put out my own eye trying to get them bad boys in and out. No go.
I am scheduled for annual eye exam in next couple of months so I'll make sure to double check the list of lenses available to me with your list of favorable lens brands. Cheers !

It's been about 3 years since purchasing this one new. Holds time to within a few seconds every month. I couldn't ask for a better timepiece.

I brought my Maratac GPT-2 (Automatic Movement) and Suunto X-Lander Military. I've been wearing the Maratac most of the time. I've been looking at a Sinn U1 or U2 as my next purchase.
