The Big 12 only have themselves to blame for allowing an outside polling system dictate which teams are to play in their championship game if there were a tie, in which there was. So, the best team from each division in the conference played for the conference championship. It may not always be the best teams in the conference as a whole, but the best teams in their division.

The best thing this college football season had its that it's finally and mercefully over.
