What a complete c**k sucker! He should have his mind erased or involuntarily committed to an assilum.

Are you f***ing serious? Or are you just prone to exaggerations?
Not relating to the topic, but your statement seems to be a little... over the top.
Plus you misspelled assylum...

I'm completely serious. CPT Greer signed an NDA. He has already proven that he cannot keep his mouth shut. As such he needs to be imprisoned, being that this administration wouldn't do such a thing he needs to go away and no longer have the opportunity to reveal classified information to our enemies. So a good case of amnesia or a mental ward looks to be a viable option to me. Of course we could kill him but I don't really agree with that.

There are plenty of places where that would happen. Glad I don't live in any of them.

So what is your answer for a person that knowingly signs his name to a document in which he states he will never release classified data for 80 years, then does so to make money? In my book he would be put somewhere where he can never do it again. Solitary confinement, mental institution seems like a just answer for selling out your brothers to the highest bidder. Those of us that wear the uniform call that treason, which in the time of war is punishable by death.

Prosecution, with imprisonment if found guilty. We fight against the kind of totalitarian regimes that put traitors in mental institutions.

My guess is he is PNG amongst his brothers which is proof enough to me that he needs to go away. A civilian court and the criminal justice system is not applicable in this case.

Who is this WE you speak of?
As for me, I am perfectly fine with putting traitors/those guilty of treason to death This would also include elected officials and the aides who leak information to the press under the cloak of anonymity.

The WE I speak of is the United States, our military, our police, our non-military representatives around the world and our citizens who set policy through a representative government and pay for it all. As to the rest, whatever is reached through due process, military or civilian, is fine with me.

slibeatha, are we going to see you posting in other threads of the board or is the only reason you're here is to hang out on this thread?

Let's get one thing crystal clear, local, state or federal "police" protect and serve the people.
The US Military is sworn to defend the Constitution of the United States. We don't have a "thin blue line".
Unless you one of the 1% that have served this nation as soldier, sailor, airman or marine you are NOT "one of us".
We clear on that?

The founder of that unit wrote a book already in the early 80s and he probably had signed NDAs, I do not see folks bad mouthing him?
TS, they failed the mission, but was it due to his leadership or was it due to:
- restrictions placed on conducting the operation ( no mining of the mountain passes, no additional Ranger blocking forces etc. )
- putting the emphasis on the locals being at the front of the operation, who did not operate at night
- sneaky local commanders making deals with the Taliban ie. the fake "cease-fire"
If I understood correctly the proceeds from his book went to SOF foundations/charity?

Failed leadership. Why do you think he wrote the book? Maj Greer wanted to place the blame on everyone else......
