Introduction
I am a 37 year old civilian living in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. I recently moved here with my family to open multiple athletic training facilities after working as a strength and conditioning coach in Philadelphia, PA.
I have joined this forum because I have experience in working with friends and family in both the regular branches of the military as well as SF. I greatly admire the sacrifice and service of all who serve and want to help whenever and wherever I can. My skill set is physical preparedness training and I have a background in many different philosophies of training. I look forward to helping anyone on here who needs and advice or assistance in terms of physical training either for deployment or selection training. Thank you.

What's up everyone.
Currently enlisted in IL ARNG as an 11B. Full time college student about 2 months away from graduating with my bachelors.
At this time I am looking into obtaining a DD Form 368, then going active as an 18x.
Looking forward to reading through the posts on here.

Hello Quiet Professionals. I have been lurking for years reading and gaining knowledge. Thank you for putting together a message board with such a plethora of information for those of us aspiring to become a SF Soldier. I'm 20 years old, current National Guard soldier, undergoing Firefighter & EMT training on the civilian side. Been dreaming of SF since I was 4. About 2 and a half years ago I turned the focus of everything I do in life towards getting selected. I want to be SF on Active Duty once I complete my NG contract.

My name is John and I intend to enlist in the coming months. I do not plan to enlist with an 18X contract, but I found this forum to contain a wealth of information. I'll make myself scarce until I've thoroughly read all of the available content on the forums.

Hello gentlemen,
I am an 18B currently serving on an ODA in 1SFG(A). This site helped me out quite a bit heading to selection and the Q a few years back, and I am hoping to pay it forward when applicable. I also see this as a place to maintain the lessons learned from those who came before me, keeping them in the Regiment instead of learning the hard way again.
I would gladly welcome a PM from whoever vets the authenticity of GB's on this site. Thank you for your time.

Hello Everyone,
I'm enlisting in a couple months and I'm very excited to tryout for the Green Berets on a 18X contract. I'm here to learn as much as possible about preparing for SFAS. I think I have a good chance at succeeding because I truly believe in the Green Beret mission statement and the type of work they are doing across the world. I'd love more than anything to do the type of work the Green Berets are doing!

Intro.
USMC 1987-1993. Served in Panama, Lebanon, Liberia, Gulf War (Iraq and Kingdom of S.A.), Adriatic, Somalia. Proud of my service but even prouder (and even more humbled) that I got to serve with some great men who taught me damn near everything worth knowing. What does one miss the most? Your teammates you served with including those of all stripes and all branches. Semper Fidelis, gents.
I'm here to learn what I can from other warriors and those who endeavor to join them.

Introduction
Hello Everyone,
I am a recent college graduate (Computer Engineering from UVA). I am currently in DEP with an 18X contract and I am leaving for Ft. Benning in a few weeks. I have been lurking on this forum for several months now but I don't expect to be posting here much since there is basically nothing I can add.
I have been spending the last 1.5 years preparing physically and mentally for a life in special operations. I have been reading and rereading Get Selected by Col Joe Martin (Major Joe Martin at the time of publication). I have been doing some form of exercise and training everyday of the week with 4 days of running and 3 days of rucking. I have also been getting involved with the GORUCK community having completed 8 events (2 heavy's, 5 tough challenges and 1 Kill that 5k). Being able to talk in person with members from various special operations communities through GORUCK has given me a small glimpse into the lives, persona's and experiences of those involved.

Former Ranger here from B 2/75 Ranger Rgt (01-04). Been out since then and working for the dark side as a PSS and Instructor for DoS programs, as well as a stint teaching deploying personnel for the DoD.
I'm here to read. I've been considering going back in and trying to absorb as much as possible and contribute if/when my experience allows.

I am 25 years old and hold an 18X contract. I ship to OSUT at Ft. Benning in one month and I have been conditioning and preparing for Training and Selection for the past nine months.
My alma mater is GWU, where I studied History; I swam competitively for nine years and ran cross country. I have been lurking on this forum for a while, and I look forward to reading and learning further.

34 years old, 13 years infantry (NG). I ETS'd my NG contract from another state to pull away and focus on getting back to where I need to be, rediscover that part of me that loved to be motivated and methodically get myself prepared for going back in under a NG SF contract.
I've just been quiet and been doing a lot of reading here. Plan on doing more.
