foreign national
I searched the forums, and I couldnt find this one thing. I met this girl who was on a visa from Colombia. I met her and have talked to her for a long time. I am curious to see if I would lose my pending security clearance if I would happen to marry her? Any advice would help a lot. Thank you guys for the help.

Advice 1: Think about your position. You're just getting started on the biggest adventure/challenge of your life. You don't need any distractions.
Advice 2: This isn't the proper place to ask this question. Look around.

It depends. What is your priority right now?
Here is a clue. A foreign national in your life right now isn't going to help.

Thank you guys for the help. My one and only priority right now is passing the Q course. Everything else in my life will have to wait until after that.
I apologize that my question was not in the proper place. My mistake will not happen again.

jmhcr66 - I don't believe NDD was emphatic enough. You need to figure out your priorities. Right now your "wants" are mutually exclusive. But then it's your life. Just don't expect to have your cake and eat it too. Back to your regularly scheduled topic - this is the Intro Thread. If you want more advice/abuse find the right forum to post it in. Peregrino

The one and only priority in my life is to make it through the Q. I will take these words of advice, and not have any distractions while I am completing it. Thank you for the help. Once again, I apologize for posting this is the wrong area.

Welcome aboard SGM. I'm/we're glad TS and the guys finally persuaded you to stick your head in. FWIW - The SHOT Show rumors are flying thick & fast. I have it from reliable sources you were "the last man standing" (again - I still remember last year) and that you've got the goods on everybody. The rest of us are sorry we missed the action. Thanks!
Thank you for this wealth of knowledge. I have inquired into this site many times over the past year before realizing I should become a member. My father served in MACVSOG CCS, he instilled great values and sparked my interest into the special forces community. Thank you for the opportunity and insight into the minds of such great men.
