Not sure if I've mentioned it before, but I am a huge fan of Auburn, Mississippi State, Baylor, Kansas, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Citadel, Florida State and Oklahoma State.

Look at the schedules of the teams I listed, then look at who is ahead of USC in the BCS standings.

Ret10Echo,
I was offline and on vacation. I have a buddy who is at Hurlburt Field and stayed in Mary Esther/Navarre area (nice area for 7th grp to move into).
Watch the end of 'Bama/LSU game. Gotta hand it to the 'Bama fans, they love their football as much as us Texans.
Poor Joe Pa. Tech rips Okie State, dang it. Although they still have OU. If they win over OU then they definitely deserve to be in the championship game.

Hey now the Irish are Bowl eligible.
(Fire Weis - today!)
I know there is a poster here - - COUNSEL - - that is too shy to show up, but I will say it for him. Michigan is sooooo bad they missed playing in a Bowl the first time since before WWII.
And that scares me since we play them next week. Yikes.
My TOP TEN:
1) Texas Tech (good to see)
2) USC (who is playing better?)
3) Florida (maybe 2A, because they are playing well)
4) Alabama (why 4? We need a playoff)
5) Texas (Heisman lives here)
I know The Tide is tough, but I feel USC is making a case for themselves as --- well, how dominant does a team need to be? These guys are close to taking over the AFC North.
And yes Alabama is tough, but so is Florida.
Two words: Playoff ----- System!
period.

USC is having trouble with Stanford again at the half . . .
It's Catwoman's birthday, so I'm not watching until later.

Why is everyone so BIG again on USC? ESPN had an article yesterday that made the point of saying that anyone who plays USC in the BCS Championship game would be an underdog. WTF? Am I missing something here? USC is currently 6th. If they are so much better, why aren't they ranked higher?

East Coast bias and the PAC-10 is underrated as always.
Oregon State actually is a very good team -- they just beat Cal.

Because the Irish draw fans with deep pockets and large bank accounts any city loves for them to come in.

I don't think anyone argues the point that a playoff system is the best way to go. The real problem is how to fit it in logistically.

How 'bout them Gators - 56-6. Awesome game, and I was there, it got a little wet, but it was fun.
We must beat the Citadel, then destroy Florida State, and beat Bama for a shot at the National Championship. Good thing the Big Suck is no where near it this year, there may actually be a good game this year. But them Big 12 teams have no defense!

Yes it was! That team is on a roll right now. I don't think either of our previous National Championship teams have looked this good. I was extremely concerned before the first game with the 3 season ending ACL injuries that they took, but this team is deep enough to overcome it. UF has become a MegaProgram now... if only baseball can get on track
