WH:
I was 12 when I joined the young-person’s program called “Bull Pups” in the USMC, placed there by my father. I had never known civilian life even as a child as I was under my father’s training from age 6, and after that, my path through my adult service life was not typical. In our work we wore uniforms infrequently, perhaps six times in all those years. We didn’t live within military protocol, but we didn’t live within civilian world either. We functioned almost entirely off base, unlike the units that evolved from our beginning, living among civilians but not mixing with them. We never looked 'military' with long hair, beards (men only!), and we wore civilian clothing on the job. The photo on the back of the first book is not only rare, it’s an anomaly – it shows the only time we even came close to looking military – and even then the camo is mis-matched as required for the mission. When I stood down from active duty, I was not able to cope with most of the things civilians deal with, for better or worse, every day. The USMC and the program were my life and I knew no other way. If I had not met Elizabeth, my wife and companion, and a few helpful friends along the way, I would have not been able to exist outside the system. Although I have learned much, I am not able to completely function as a civilian even today.

To quote Hammersmith

When he mentions his unit being outside the system, living on the economy, and only deployed a few times each year for a week or two, you'd think that spending 80% of his time in civilian communities, acting like a civilian would have prevented that problem.

He would have never survived being captured. His story falls apart while sitting back in comfortable surroundings, smokin on whatever.

only a matter of time

This is like watching a train wreck.

Frau Wolfe emboldened by years of fleecing prepubescent boys still hasn't figured out his scavenging gig is up, he has slithered into the sights of actual apex predators. Men who have been defending our country by frankly doing bad things to bad people from the jungles of Vietnam up through the mountains of Afghanistan. Besides fraud, his pathetic foibles to profit from false service insult the memory and sacrifices of far better men, men who are brothers to the veterans here. He thinks he can ride the storm through by posting transparent excuses, hiding behind the internet, maybe change his name again, and figure out the next con. If he had half a brain he would quietly slither away, instead his continued egotistical braying is further provoking a tightly knit motivated community with far greater resources, some of whom moved on into law enforcement. Wolfie has no lawyers, he is an anxious slob hiding out in a strip mall somewhere wondering how bad this will be, he likely hasn't had a healthy bowel movement since all of this started, something his future roommate in a jail cell will likely remedy, if he doesn't first flee to a country without indoor plumbing. Wolfie still hasn't figured out how this story ends.

That's what I figured and why I didn't delete my post. A bit of CYA on my part. I'm sooooo worried I'll be sued. Hey, wouldn't a double naught spy just sneak into our bedrooms and whack us? Why waste money on a fleet of lawyers?

That may be the only honest statement he's made.

That's what I've been wondering. Look at the guys accomplishments:

- Seen action on all '8' continents.
- Used so many cover stories he can't remember his real rank.
- Spent so much time acting as a civilian, that he doesn't know how to act as a civilian.
- Created the greatest crypto software the world has ever seen.
- So generous he allows the Marines to keep his active LTC pay
- Converses telepathically with elephants
- Employs a fleet of lawyers so secret that they're never seen or heard from
- During his 30 years as a 'covert operator,' he was also a travelling, 'world renown' musician.

He makes James Bond look like Mr. Bean. He may be the greatest American/human being of all time

There was some question whether Wolfgang and this Van Hammersmith guy are the same. They are the same charlatan. He went by "Steve Pyryezstov" back then. I'll keep my playing hand secret for now, but it's not related to the article he posted at: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/colum...mmersmith.html that mentions Wolfgang Hammersmith.

Worst cover ever for a "black ops" SAD guy. That's what he's claiming currently, right? I can't keep the TLAs he worked for straight, since they change weekly.

Poor SA on Wolfie's part.

In the interest of OPSEC, we might want to be less specific and associate Wolfgang with n-continents".

Just sayin.

It is actually WORSE than I thought. Terminal Lance (Corporal) has posted an entertaining dialogue with Wolfgang von Dipshi'ite and his email replies are interesting (legal threats are noted).

http://terminallance.com/forum/index.php?topic=1899.0

This is a quote from one of Wolfie's emails posted on the above site: "My world is so far out of his world it’s beyond his conception, even on his very best day."

Wolfie...I'm seriously concerned about you hanging out with all those young gamers at your book promotions.

Wolfie's page is still up http://wolfganghammersmith.com/2010/ and it includes his interview (you have to jump to 18:35 to get to Wolfie and to 24:50 where he claims the stories in the book are true).

That's my dialog with him the day after his interview came up. I've been on this guy since the 22nd, and he has been just insane the entire time.

I assure you, the conversations over Skype were even more entertaining. This guy is one of those liars who is very well accustomed to controlling conversations. He got flustered as I drilled him on every single part of his story. Kept saying he brought down powerful gangs (refused to answer which gangs), says he brought down druglords (didn't name any).

The entire time I talked with this guy, he said a bunch of "people who can vet me" did all this and that. Kept alluding to people in high places, and refused to name any of them. Total incompetence on his part. He started talking that he was going to give me a bunch of trials that he was apart of to bring down drug lords, and as soon as I asked for case numbers and names, he immediately hesitated, then kept trying to tell me that htey were federally sealed and that should I look; he would have to go into protective custody.

Guy was just demented.

Seriously, I think you've hit the nail on the head. This guy is clearly living in another world and has taken on the life of Sam Fisher. He has gone well outside the "reasonable person".

I also think Vadium Technology is similar to Setec Astronomy (from the movie Sneakers).
