I think what Mark Hensley (blackecho18) doesn't realize that Thomas "Dalton Fury" Greer put other people at risk when published his book.

Also from his FB page:

I'd bet if Mark wanted to meet some of us wannabe sf soldiers, we would meet him at any of the active SF groups, give him a tour of the place. He could come to Bragg, Campbell, Lewis, Carson, and maybe even Eglin as 7th moves there.

Hey Pap Smear, bloodseed, whatever you call yourself, please tell me one American Special Operations soldier that was "targeted" and killed on American soil, just one.

dalton fury aka Thomas Greer outed himself, ask him. The stupid "disguise" he used on TV was nothing more than theatrics employed to sell more books, not to protect himself against an imagined enemy he "failed" to kill in the first place.

Now if I were a really bad-guy I would not waste my time or effort killing a man that failed his mission and blamed everyone but himself. Hell I'd be sending him a birthday card every year to let him know I was still alive!

Thomas Greer is very happy with the money he has made from his book, and pap-smear, Mr. Greer is the one that put lives at risk, not me.

Now run along and bother someone else.

Why is Greer the only one I know of who wrote his book (in violation of his NDA) under a pseudonym?

Beckwith, Boykin, the rest seem to have no issues with putting their name on the cover, and to my knowledge, have not been bothered by any bad guys.

And I would think that LTG (R) Boykin has a much higher profile on terrorist radar than MAJ (R) Greer.

I think we've turned him..... I don't think this individual realized this website (Professionalsoldiers.com) is the largest gathering of Special Forces soldiers on the internet..... I think he get's it now.

Ask Mr. Greer for me just how much money he made off his book and how much he donated to "charity". I will wager $100 he will not disclose that information. Also you realize (and the rest of the civilians reading his book) that Ranger Greer was never the "Commander" of anything but a small ground force that failed it's mission. Cpt. Greer failed and wrote a book in an attempt to place the blame on others. Something else you should know, Cpt. Greer was never a Special Forces soldier. Probably one reason why he's afraid of his own shadow..... (His imagined enemies and his stupid disguise.)

i apologize for calling you names in my PMs to you. i also apologize to everyone i called an SF wannabe. i have been lied to several times by people claiming to be SF or ex SF. a recruiter i talked to many years ago told me that he was involved in some black ops missions a few years before we talked and also one of my high school gym teachers claimed he used to be Force Recon. i am very skeptical of what i read on the internet. especially when it comes to people saying they are military. serving your country is a very very special thing and it infuriates me when people lie about serving for personal gain. and it isnt everyday for me when i get to talk to some of the real SF community, so i had a hard time believing it. but the SF community are my heroes. i look up to SF more than anyone and if i could be anything in the world it would be SF.

I hope Mark realizes that sometimes it's better to find out who you're calling a fake before you do so. But it's good that he manned up and at least admitted he was wrong.
