I’m of two minds about this:

1) Nobel Prize recipient Dr Luc Montagnier has had a lot of professional success, but also a lot of controversy about his research and methodology over time.

If the criticism of Dr Montagnier was only very recent that would be a huge red flag against his critics, but criticism has followed him for well over a decade.

Acceptance

History has proven that validation often only happens after the originator of a theory has been tarred, feathered, and thrown in the furnace.

It is absolutely maddening to see so many people conveniently walking back their demonisation of anyone who suggested investigation into a lab leak as the point of origin, until we had a new administration.

It is a truly literal example of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I watched the Twilgiht Zone a lot when I was a kid. y grandmother was an absolute nut about westerns and what my aunt called "mom and her monster movies" - Twilight Zone was one of her 'monster movies' and damn if it isn't one of those shows that seems to have been written by a time traveler.

ETA: The reason why I ask is it’s been 423 days since we first found out about this and during that time the Democrats haven’t been the least bit interested in finding out anything about the origins of the virus; only to deflect and distract from any investigation conducted by the previous administration. I highly doubt the Biden administration is going to ask any tough questions of the Chinese government or use the kind of diplomatic force the EU is currently applying to Belarus for simply staging an aircraft high-jacking to arrest four dissidents the Russian government happens to not like.

Something already tells me the coverup for the act of war perpetrated by the CCP against the world will go unpunished by everyone who has already been told not to fuck with the new emperor and the Ping dynasty.
