Point to remember...

...he was denied the chance to die on his own terms. He died on our terms.
His guards failed him, and he got to taste our bullets not his own.

May he receive his just rewards in whatever afterlife awaits him.

No.

Not any more than usual, minus a few armed forces recruiting station in AR or CA. Many young Islam men would easily join AQ, because they beleived their beloved leader was humbly working and surviving in a cave.

Wow, anyone surprised he was living in a "mansion-compound" 60 miles from the capital since 2005?

Let's see what the Spring/Summer push will look like A-stan.

I's like to buy the young gun a cold beer, or better yet, if he collects the $25M, then he could buy the beer.

Good job gents, proud of you all.

Thanks.

My chest is tightening...and I'm choking up...and I've got a burning deja vu...? wtf...

...Ahhhh yes. Got it.

It's what I felt when that bastard attacked our country 10 years ago and for ONCE, our entire country stood together, red white and blue displayed.
All with the common interest to track his sorry a$$ down.

Its what I felt when my better half signed up with Uncle Sam.
It's what I felt when I watched him earn his beret.
It's what I feel when I pick him up from green ramp after a long trip.
And it's what I feel when he leaves again to keep on looking!
PRIDE!!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA and all you QP's!!

What's next?

First, a toast (unfortunately a rip-it for us over here) to the crew who took care of business. Whether team, boat crew or both, all credit and thanks goes to them as well as everyone who has served, especially those who gave all. Second, prayers for the guys until they get home safely. Finally, we wait, hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

Thanks.
Well... The cave was so damp and the cell service sucked. One's fanaticism can only go so far after all.

Somewhere a true believer's leader isn't training to kill you...

Well, it is time to go to sleep and dream sweet dreams of that A-hole's bullet ridden body. I predict I will sleep soundly.

yes, it was worth the wait

I cannot imagine a better way for this mission to have [allegedly] gone down, even after so many years of waiting.

We sent American men deep into Pakistan, killed him with an American bullet, secured his body ourselves, and extracted with no casualties, or even any collateral damage to innocents.

This sounds like as flawless an operation as anyone could have dreamt of, after so much sacrifice over so many years hunting this roach.

What a testament to the superhuman skills and professionalism of all of our SOF, hardened by so many thousands of missions, at such a furious tempo, over the last 9+ years.

I have no words to say other than, thank you and God bless you all. May you all return home safely to your families soon. America is beaming with pride tonight.
