When I look all the shenanigans past and present, I would say we are a Banana Republic. There is a constant back and forth with legislation, for example the Assault Weapons Ban, then the ban is lifted, now Slo Joe is promising to reinstate the AWB and more. One administration raises taxes another cuts taxes. And you have the judiciary like John Roberts over stepping his jurisdiction as with Obama Care, or the Courts in California nullifying the will of the people on issues they voted for or against.

And all along the way each and everyone of them are ignoring the founding documents and shaping things to their own desires.

The lack of prosecution for the Russian Collusion and the on going travesty of justice against General Flynn. The mysterious deaths of Jeffrey Epstein and Whitey Bulger. Rioters arrested for looting and burning cities are released, whereas law abiding citizens are arrested for protecting their property and/or themselves. City Councils laughing at citizens concerned about needles and shit on their sidewalks.

And finally, an election debacle of epic proportions in the country that has pimped Freedom, Democracy and Fair Elections around the world for longer than I have been on this earth.

All that is what you would expect in a Banana Republic....if we're not there yet, we are damn close.


A bit off topic but not....I am curious if any of you would have been approved for a security clearance (let alone the keys to the Kingdom) if you had a close family member like Hunter Biden?

Thanks Gypsy! I am hesitant to believe that President Trump was not prepared for this. I hope he smokes the people behind this and makes it a very costly mistake.

Of the 3 clips mentioned above, cry Havoc! and let slip Leigh Dundas. She gets my vote.

My only voter 'irregularity' (so far) was published in the paper, as the City Clerk and County Clerk shook their heads in amazement at 91.85% voter turnout overall for the county. (The math squares.) Previous high was the 2016 election at 85%. 'Course in some areas like mine & the surrounding bergs it doesn't take much to get the tally up there. A cesspool like Milwaukee is likely a different story.

OT: Someday a new host will read an answer about this klu$terf**k and ask for the response in the form of a question. But it won't be Alex Trebek now, just as it won't be Art Fleming form the original of my youth.

My wife got blocked on FB on her personal account for posting the Leigh Dundas video.

First person I know to be censored for posting about the election fraud going on.

FB is doing some "strange" things this week. My wife has had her FB account for so long that she can't even remember her password. For the first time in years, she deleted two extremely liberal friends accounts who were pushing extreme liberal videos, and the like. After deleting the second one - they were about 20 minutes apart - her account was shut down and she was kicked out. I thought that it may have been some type of protection against hacking except for the fact that it has never happened since she opened her account. Coincidence...maybe, I just don't think so.

It’s no coincidence, social media is controlling the message the masses get to read. If it goes against the message you will be silenced and rather quickly even if the past twenty years your name or posts never rose to the occasion.

There was such a thing as free speech in America but not anymore. The “arbitrators of truth” have spoken and if you don’t toe the line you will be ostracized, tarred and feathered, burned at the stake and thrown into the river all at the same time.
