This is just SW of Des Moines Iowa off of I-80, quite the story behind it. The artist is a helluva nice kid and a great supporter of all veterans. Here is a link to the Rock. The theme changes, it's worth the trip to see.

I think you would need armed guards on that rock if it were located somewhere in the Pacific Northwest.

The rock was defaced once awhile back and a friend of mine a VN Vet tracked the individual down and roughed him up a bit, I saw his citation for assault, due to the circumstances the fine was minimal and the Rock has not been defaced since.
