Hi Mark,

Michael Schumacher was the Stig for only one episode because Ferrari would not let the real Stig (Ben Collins at the time) drive the FXX ("owned" by Michael). Ferrari have done this with the 599XX as well, and have gone as far as you can't even take delivery of the car. They will meet you at a track of your choosing with a team of mechanics and engineers to set it up for you. Insanity.

Edit to add: Ben Collins was outed (and thus fired by the BBC) after he released a book about his Stig exploits a few years ago. He was replaced by another Stig, but since Michael has retired from Formula 1 in 2012, he has been awfully quiet...
