Lightbulb TrackStick Super (GPS DATA Logger)

In my never ending quest for new tools in my work I would like to recommend a new device that I have been using for the last 6 months.

The Track Stick Super
(This is a Data Logger not a Transmitter)

Uses of the Track stick: For personnel use I use it to LOG the travels of my family, kids. Keeps the kids honest as to where they went and how fast they were driving.

For Work I use it to record the movements of people, cars, etc so I can later download the trip and prepare route maps, Points of interest etc. This device is a great economical GPS DATA Logger for LEO's. You can slap it on a car and recover it later and see where the individual went.

I have found in the force protection world that this is great for preparing product during a site survey and Route recons. The data downloads easily and they have a great Goggle Maps and Goggle Earth interface. You can also embed photos at locations that you shot. I have found that when doing surveillance in an Urban environment it is a good tool so you can later record the route traveled while following your TGT. This is a great low-cost tool. It is only limited by your imagination.

The data can be exported into all the standard formats that will import into Goggle, Garmin, FV, etc (kmz/html/rtf/csv/gpx).

Another good tool for the tool box.
