That explains the flash on the horizon about 15 miles north of my location. Welcome aboard.

I think you need to take about 30 days to read the stickies and introduction threads, check the attitude, and get a great big cup of situational awareness.

Lurk for the next month, read, and do not post here anymore till then.

You might be surprised at what you can learn by reading on this site.

My name is Chuck, I'm a high school senior in Annapolis, Maryland. I'll be attending The Citadel next year and I plan on participating in ROTC.

I thank you all for your service.

Joined over the weekend on the recommendation of a friend, finally have time to make an introduction.
Am stuck here, back in NC, after a three year hiatus with 3/1st in Washington state - hope to get back there or at least out of this small windowless office cubicle that I am stuck in.
And chai krup, I know whom McNasty is.

Thanks again,

Welcome to all.

Yeah, me too. I wish Osama Bin Mama wasn't so fond of eating and sleeping indoors.

RV's! It's a compromise between the wilderness places you would like to go and what Mama will put up with. I started mine out renting from MWR until she was hooked. Now I have to figure out how to get the laptop to function with a cell phone (without buying a PDA style phone) so I can work and stay in touch. To return you to the thread - Welcome all.

PB and anybody else who might have committed a Faux Pas with an inappropriate post/attitude - Lurk & Learn is an invitation (and a "sentence" with an end in sight). People we don't think have any future here get BANNED and can't come back. Behave yourself and demonstrate a desire to become a part of the community and you will be welcomed. It's all about character - you are being given the opportunity to demonstrate yours. Hide and sulk waiting for the time to pass or quit and never come back because your feelings got bruised and you've just shown us how you will react to discipline on a team. Guess where things go from there! FWIW - Peregrino

Introduction

Just introducing myself. I plan on staying as quiet as possible while doing some reading. Looks like a great site and I look forward to learning much.

I plan on enlisting under the 18x option soon.
