Congratulations. Well done putting your hearts and souls (and guts, blisters, hunger pangs...) into reaching the immediate goal.

Back from Mackall...

An update on the "cake-eaters" (aka officers): 13 + 6 cadets were selected out of the of 29 who showed up. I was proud to be selected and know it was this site that considerally aided me. Thanks to all who have made the information available. It was a good kick in the nuts, even for a hard charging squid! In fact both of us Navy kids made it.

Next problem I face, if anyone can offer some help: The Navy has agreed to release me to the Army via Intra-Service Transfer NET January 2006. Problem is I am slated for the Captain's course in September '05. How can I keep my commitment to my soon to be employer? I have a few "stars" I can call on, but don't want to go that route yet...

Again, thanks for all the help. I mentioned this site to a couple of the Cadre, hope they find their way here.

You say that as if the Delta course is not my target. lol

My thoughts were that I would attend one of the three 'short' courses, then once finished with the Q have my NG unit extend my orders keeping me here for the Delta course. It would lengthen my stay at Bragg another 3 months, but I would draw SDAP and FLPP while in the Delta course. Still waiting for a call from the Admin Sgt at my unit. MSG L says it should not be a problem...

No, but now that you mention it...lol

The idea was not mine, but that of SGM M in the NG Liaison's office. I had actually not given it much thought until I had another conversation with Col K (JSOMT-C) just before leaving for MacKall. He mentioned it again... I am just ready to get into training again and get it overwith and on a team.
