Kavanaugh hearing - Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) gives a A-Grade civics lesson
Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) gives an A-Grade civics lesson.
I've never heard a more concise explanation of what's wrong with our government.
Very very well put Senator Sasse.

Agree. Very impressed by Sen. Sasse's ability to cut through clutter and diagnose what's actually happened over the last 90 years.

Thanks for that. It is compelling to watch someone articulate, without teleprompter, without constantly reading their notes because they understand their subject matter. He captured a boatload of national frustration in that few minutes.

That was the best 12 minute speech I have heard in a long time. Wish they would step up and realigne and do as the founders designed our government

Most counties keep building permit requests on file.
Would appear a building permit to add a door - and other major modifications - was issued in 2008, not 2012.
Would that be a lie?

It's not a lie, she simply mis-spoke. You must hate women for saying that.
Besides, that judge guy said he likes beer - men that drink beer are rapists.

I think it's more likely that they would be horrified that a Senator needed to remind his peers what their responsibilities are under article one.

Good point then again they did not all agree hence the 11 yr ratification process with alot of public debate through letters in newspapers and the liberty letter that was written in which Jefferson felt like liberty was already being challenged
