ATTN all you turds getting shot by LEO's:

When I get pulled over, I wait for instructions. I don't get out of the car and approach the LEO. I wait in the car with both hands sticking outside the window with my license and CCW easily seen. I have my inside light on if it's dark out. I want to make his job as stress free as I can. I answer with yes sir and no sir. Many of these people ask for what happens. To many times, you see someone get within arms reach of an LEO and they end up getting shot with their own gun.

These LEO's don't wake up in the morning and shout "oh boy, I hope I get to shoot somebody today", They say a prayer and ask god to help get them home safe in the evening.

DO WHAT YOU'RE TOLD BY THE LEO's.

Therein lays the problem: all these little special snowflakes that have been given a free pass due to their skin color don't feel like the rules apply to them. If they would just act like a freaking part of human society, they'd get to go home and drink their 40's in peace.

Instead, they demand special treatment and then complain when they receive it....if they are still alive.

Also since the unfortunate incident in Dallas that wound up with officer deaths..

Mix a little MSM and social media exposure

Add ignorance from all directions and...!

Viola! We have yet another national crisis on our hands.

PS (Yeah I get some perps get belligerent and challenge authority and are sometimes armed, but guess what makes the news.)

You could go even deeper:
Police responded to a 911 caller who stated a disturbed man was walking around with a gun, threatening suicide. Furthermore: "Sources told Local 10 News that Cmdr. Emile Hollant was the voice on the police radio telling dispatchers and other officers that someone had a gun".

His aid worker intervienes during police activity. Should they have shot him? Hind sight with one you tube video that doesn't show the beginning of the incident from one perspective, says no. But why gather all the facts and the totality of the circumstances. Just go with you-tube.

Officer responded to a man with a gun, officers told by their commander someone has a gun. Officers see subject sitting in the middle of the street with an object in his hand and shoot.

I would suggest that they used deadly force due to bad info given by their commander. It's the commander that should have his ass on the hot seat, not the office that made a good faith judgement to protect the innocent.

I've heard that eye-witnesses make horrible witnesses.

We all know the media is incompetent, I present as additional evidence the editing (or lack of) present in the attached image.

On the other hand, this cnn article raises an excellent point:
Quote:
Attorney Damario Solomon-Simmons contested Shelby's attorney's account, saying Crutcher was complying and made no sudden movements until he was hit with the Taser.
As for the allegations that Crutcher may have been intoxicated, Crump said it's irrelevant. He pointed out that just Monday an alleged terrorist accused of placing bombs in New York and New Jersey and opening fire on police was taken into custody alive, yet Shelby felt she had to exact deadly force on Crutcher.
Is the difference that the terrorist was apprehended by a team of better trained people and Crutcher was shot by a not as well trained single officer?

Were the cops in Jersey not trying to exact deadly force on the alleged terrorist? I personally would not be too quick to call the Jersey cops better trained at least in the area of firearms proficiency. That idiot should be dead. YMMV

Typical BS.
Comparing apples and oranges with little or no facts. Just conjecture and supposition.

How is it reasonable to compare a manhunt for a suspected terrorist to a street stop of an unknown subject?

I have no information to support the actions of the street stop, but I've been in similar scenarios and they are completely different.

If the guy had stayed in his car and said yes sir, no sir.
If he had taken his citation and slowly driven off.
He would still be alive.

Stay the hell in your car.
Do ask told.
Obey the officer.
Get your ticket.
Go to da crib.
Pop open a 40.
Fire up a blunt.
Live another day.

Granted there are untrained bad cops, yet no untrained bad cop wakes up in the morning and says "today I will go to work and shoot someone"

This was not a traffic stop. He had stopped his vehicle and was walking around prior to Officer Shelby's arrival.

In the moments after the above picture was taken, he walks back toward his car with his hands up and she walks with him. While this happens, back up arrives and moves to her side as they approach Big Scary Black Man. A loud POP! is heard, several seconds go by, he falls and the she calls, Shots Fired over the radio.

Watching the dashcam with audio, I think she flinched causing a negligent discharge.

I agree. Unfortunately, those that aren't following the script is making headlines and the "protests" that occur afterwards are encouraged. Good for ratings.

When I moved to Los Angeles in 1976, LAPD patrol units were 2 man(!) cars and the men were tall and fit à la Adam-12 central casting. Enter affirmative action and LAPD turned into the Star Wars bar scene and one "person" units. This is what happens when the leftist agenda is implemented.

This is very likely what happened. She "flinched" with her gun pointed at the victim who had just been tazed by the male officer. (ETA: Rule #2 Never put your finger on the trigger unless ready to fire)

No amount of 'wording' is going to make this a good shoot. She should have used better judgement once other officers where there unless the victim had verbally indicated otherwise.

Compliance on the victims part would have resulted in a tow truck and a ride home. He failed too!

1st-degree manslaughter charges brought against Ofc. Betty Shelby by state prosecutor in the death of Terence Crutcher of Tulsa.

That was swift and I believe correctly done.

Let the opinion of the court decision determine justice, punishment and reparations to the family.
