Go Gophers!

It has been nice to see the Gophers reclaim their place amoung college hockey's elite. It had been a tough few years, but I think the ship is finally moving in the right direction. WCHA first round games tonight, along with the MSHS hockey tourney. There will be a lot of puck being played in the Land of 10,000 Lakes!

I would say that both of these games have potential to be the best of the whole tourney, including the Frozen Four. You have the defending champ taking on possibly the best current team, and two arch rivals going toe to toe. Should make for some exciting hockey. GO GOPHERS!

The Frozen Four 2012 schedule has given way to its semifinals round of games in Tampa, Florida.

According to the*ESPN.com*website, the Frozen Four TV game times begin on Thursday, with #2 seed Ferris State vs. #1 seed Union at 4:30 p.m. EST. This first semifinal matchup will be shown on ESPN. Semifinal #2 will feature #2 seed Minnesota vs. #1 Boston starting at 8 p.m. EST. This game will be televised on ESPN2.

The BC / Minnesota game should be very good as both teams can really move and like to get up and down the ice.

Go Eagles !!

Ferris State will play the winner of the BC vs. Minnesota game in the NCAA Div 1 men's ice hockey Final this Saturday.

BC meets Minnesota at 8:00. p.m. tonight - should be a fast paced game - two storied programs and these kids can skate.

Go Eagles !!
