i usually sing the praises of good kit from manufacturers that i run across, and try not to self-promote stuff that i've been involved in designing. however, my MM dump pouch, which has been available on a custom-made basis from jon of reccegear since early last year, is now being made by maxpedition, who has licensed my particular design. it debuted at SHOT, and is coming out next week. jon at reccegear has been so swamped with orders and projects that he has not been able to keep up with production, so hopefully this will take some pressure off him so he can concentrate on other, more interesting projects, rather than making cookie-cutter pouches.
for those who aren't familiar with it, it's just a 'portable hole/expandable pocket' - same genre of pouch as eggroll's excellent loppy and conceptually based on pouches like the eagle duty evidence bag.
i'm excited and proud of it, so forgive me for pimpin'. this is also the first product that i'm actually going to sell (on a small scale, mostly to buddies and fellow forum menbers - my main interest is gear design and development, not production or sales). here are pics and description:
