Amid all of the controversy and in fighting and prima donnas of the last Winter Games, a star rose above the BS. Sarah Hughs was a quiet, somewhat shy figure skater. She was unlike the boistrous favorites and rose above the crowd to win the Gold Medal. She went back to finish HS. The other night I saw her skate for the first time since the Olympics. She has grown up into a real classy young lady -- a real credit to US athletics.
