Just before dinner I was walking the dog and heard what sounded like a Huey, but with less of a "whoop". I didn't see it, but it landed about a mile east of us at a neighbor's house. I went up on the roof to see if it was a medevac, but their property is behind a small rise that blocked my view. It was on the ground, running, for about 10 minutes. When he pulled pitch, I saw the dust rise. And out of the dust flew an AH-1 Cobra!
Clearly, this is a neighbor I need to meet!
