Info re .22 LR production
Anyone else heard this:
My son makes regular inquiries at our local store on .22 ammo. The store clerk told him yesterday that CCI essentially makes all or most all .22 LR ammo in the US. He says everyone else gets it from CCI and puts their own label on it.
He says that CCIs equipment just went down (from over use, supposedly) and there will be no .22 made for at least the next 2 months, creating an even worse shortage than we already have.
I have been unable to get my hands on it since December. If true, this is bad. Can anyone else confirm or deny?
