How would you prepare yourselves?

Hopefully this thread isn't breaking any rules, If it is I apologize.

Lets all get hypothetical for a moment as we discuss this question:

"You are wanting to be in your country's special forces, how would you prepare yourselves?"

Here's the rules:

1. You have 5 years max (if this is possible).

2. You only have a basic level of fitness, so 30 Press-ups max, 2-3 Pull-ups max and 10 minute miles.

3. Weight lifting is allowed but not preferred, who doesn't like calisthenics?

4. There is no rule 4.

I just thought it would be fun to here what you quiet professionals have to say about this, also if you think of any rules or the likes, i'll add them.
