I tried quoting and posting both articles here for convenience, but they are too long. Part 1 covers 7.62 ammo up until M118 Special Ball. Part 2 covers some of the different special loads the Service teams used at Camp Perry, as well as all (most) of the current sniper/match ammo. I thought it was a good read that others would appreciate.
