Am seriously curious why it is the best /slash QP beer of choice?

Does it make everything rise to the occassion faster, or is it just tastier?

Holly, It’s because Guinness is good for you!

It’s an acquired taste. I graduated SFQC in Apr 87 and two weeks later I was on a plane for England to stage for my first trip with my team. My first Guinness was at a little pub outside of RAF Sculthorpe on that trip with a few guys from the team and a couple of SAS blokes. From that point on, regular brew just won’t do.

OK a Mr. F treat (you will agree after trying it): take one pint Guinness and pour slowly into a glass, then take one shot of Captain Morgan’s spiced rum and pour that in. It will take any bitter edge off, gives it almost a hint of caramel flavor, and it will hit you twice as fast. It’s called an “Irish Pirate”. Make sure you use the normal Captain Morgan’s spiced rum and not their black rum, or it becomes an Irish Butt Pirate and tastes like ass…don’t do that.
