So I ran across this in the Health Bulletin in the April 2011 issue of Men's Health.
Apparently there has been a decent amount of research on this, and it seems that men that have a longer ring finger relative to their index finger were exposed to more testosterone before birth.
This then apparently
may act as an indicator for other health and behavioral issues/traits including:
- less likely to have a heart attack in 30s and 40s
- more likely to develop prostate cancer
- more agressive than men with longer index fingers
- greater mental toughness and optimism
As it relates to this forum, I am curious as to whether this phenom is present in a random (somewhat) sample of actual Quiet Professionals.
Not advocating that it is or is not an indicator of success in becoming SF but rather trying to humor my own sense of curiosity.
Thanks,
Ritz
P.S. - I have the longer ring finger and do feel I am on the more aggressive side
