I guess the point I was trying to convey was the over the top rhetoric on “catholics pouring molten lead down the throats of muslims and Jews”, which was quoted on the original post (a CNN report) and repeated in posts 7 and then 8 (adding additional American flair) kinda tweaked me for some reason.
My little story on Kosovo was just anecdotal evidence how a rumor (like I believe the molten lead story to be) reported as fact and repeated over and over can be used as an excuse by others to justify otherwise unacceptable behavior.
Maybe I was a bit over the top and meandered a bit from the gist of the thread. I apologize if that is the case.
