Lightbulb Boot Restrictions in SFAS?

Hello everyone,

Before our Light Infantry Brigade deployed to Afghanistan a select few battalions were selected to participate in a Army evaluation of various Civilian style Mountain boots. (The battalions selected were the Infantry Battalions, Coincidence?) I have been enjoying my boots quite a bit, they seem to provide excellent ankle support and ideal traction. I have obviously been getting spoiled.
My question is this. Am I going to be able to use these boots when I go to SFAS? (I would most likely have to purchase new ones as they may be thrashed by the time I'm done with all this dismount action)
I am interested mainly because I want to be prepared to train in good old issued boots (when we get back) if need be.
Any knowledge is appreciated.

I ignore the battle ensuing around me to save these Mens' lives. You think flying a flag makes you a patriot? No, no. Those MEN are the true patriots. The only kind of Patriot that really matters.
