Just placed my order for my RRA M4...

I'm pretty stoked!

I kept it simple:

UPPER: Flat-top, 16" lightweight chrome-lined 1:9 barrel, Surefire rails, PRI Gas Buster charging handle, standard front iron sight, PADS flip up rear sight.

LOWER: two-stage trigger, Hogue grip, standard M4 stock (Crane SOPMOD is on the way)

Also joining the fun is an M4-1000 can. This is my first can and it was in my budget so I'm going to give it a try. Maybe down the road I can look at some of those "fancy" jobs.

Everything ran me $1,893.81 including my tax stamp.

OPTICS: I'm going to be using my current EOT 552 until I can fund one of those HSLD ACOGs.

Other toys: I have a Javelin with remote pad but I'm leaning towards my brighter surefire LED with the pushbutton tailcap, not really a fan of ten miles of wires running all over my weapon. Of course a regular old vertical grip and I'm going to mount up the green laser. I love the green laser.

I'm happy with my purchase and would like to thank this board for the no BS information that led to my decisions. I really am itching to do a nice multi-cam style paint job on the rifle as well.....

I know a thread like this is useless without pics, but I just have to tell somebody. Now I'm off to find some steals on some quality ammo.....any suggestions?
