I was just informed that SGM (ret) John (JD) Doyle passed away today in Atlanta. He did not want a lot of folks to know but he was fighting cancer and the last time I corresponded with him he thought he had it under control. JD was a great soldier and a friend. He was one of those quiet professionals that made everyone better just from knowing him. I will miss him.
