50th Anniversary of the first U.S. Soldier KIA in VN

Passing this along.....Rest in Peace Captain Cramer.

Wreath-laying ceremony / 50th Anniversary of the first U.S. Soldier KIA in VN / CPT Harry G. Cramer of the 1st SFG(A) / 21Oct 07 / West Point

I just got a phone call from the Secretary of the Army's office.

They are planning to conduct a wreath-laying ceremony on October 21 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first US Army soldier killed in Vietnam -- CPT Harry G. Cramer of 1st SFG(A), my dad. The ceremony will be conducted at Dad's gravesite in the US Military Academy Cemetery at West Point, NY.

Could you give a "heads up" to 1SFG veterans? I would like to invite anyone who would be interested in attending. The details aren't set yet, but I'll pass those along as soon as I get more info from DA.

Thanks--

Hank Cramer
