Now qualified under House Bill 218

I just qualified under this H.B. last Sunday. It took almost 3 hours to do so too. We had about 12 "retired" LEO's in the class including me. Course was almost identical to the Ohio Police Officer's Training Academy(OPOTA) course. System was based on points. No less than 80 out of 100 and you passed. I fired 100 rounds of .45cal personally and aced the course.

Now the only problem with being able to carry in any state is the fact that you are on your own. If you shoot somebody, you are by yourself. This means that you don't have your old department to fall back on for some protection or even your past training. It will be you and your lawyer up on the stand and you alone that gets sued. Any of the lawyers here want to be on "retainer" for me, just in case?

Just FYI for those of you who are thinking about doing it.
