Lightbulb MARCHING

Havent been able to find any topics on this in the search engine and extensive reading Ive done....

When marching, everyone always says, "Swing those arms"

When I march I find it more comfortable to just hold my hands together right on mystomach as I walk than swinging them, does anyone else?

Is there something I should know about swinging as fars as { does it help expand your chest for lung capacity for breathing, or maybe help you make a bigger step} or is all just comfort?

I know every1 is different but doesnt hurt to get opinions
