Fat fingered that one. Yes, reunited the Swiss bus with snow after many years in the desert. Poncho Villa........Note to self add tequila to kit .
1978 50bhp's, chains, back country shovel a little different than the 4x4. I think it liked it.

First snow of the season, and it was a big one! Took this from my balcony while it was coming down.
I'm sure I'll be sick of it by spring.

Went to grand-daughter's middle school (grades 6-7-8) Christmas choir show tonight down the road at the HS auditorium - SRO. What a sad time that we actually have to feel blessed to have such a program now rather than it being typical. But...
The PC hives can eat their freakin' hearts out, let 'em bleed purple, here is not there. Not one carving up of anything traditional, just Christmas carol after carol after carol. Then, in the middle, a rendition of a medley version of My Country 'Tis Of Thee with middle lyrics of a song called To Those Who Serve, followed by a Sinatra-worthy rendition of "Baby It's Cold Outside" with little gals & guys playing their Broadway-like parts - finished up with dimmed lights & Silent Night. It was freakin' awesome. They done good, no pandering, just straight-ahead Christmas show. The apologists are having nightmares somewhere I imagine, lol - screw 'em.
Anyway, just wanted to share that, was pretty cool 1h20m.

Yeah, there's Madison & inner Milwaukee, then there's the rest of the state. Anyway, was a refreshingly fun time with local mores & traditions in evidence.

Congratulations 33Army!
Pineland was my favorite part, where everything really comes together. Was there on Thanksgiving '69. My team bought a turkey from a local farmer, plucked it, prepped it, cooked it on a spit.
Congratulations, Green Beret!

I have a new Granddaughter. I started making her a rocking horse out of solid hard maple. I am going to use a natural finish on it no stain. As it is for ages 3 and up I have a couple of years to get it done.

Congratulations!
My Happy Thought of the Day today would have to be the birth of my third and final(hopefully) child a week ago today. All boys, 13, 3, and newborn. I'm doing my part to ensure the future of America remains secure!
I've been celebrating with house cleaning, diaper changes, and taking the crying minion so the better half can catch up on some Z's
