"Friendly Fire"

Friendly Fire
by Michael Friscolanti

I just picked this up a few weeks ago. And I recommend it to anyone who might have a vague interest in the Tarnak Farms incident on Apr.17,02. The author is a reporter. But I thought his account of what happenned before, during and after was objective.

On a personal note, it's weird reading about guys I work with everyday. And to clarify, I didn't get in till 2003 so I missed Op Apollo. I haven't worked up the courage to ask any of the guys what they think of the book, or if they've even read it. Not really my place.

Overall a good read.
