WTB Cotton Service Rifle Web Sling
Looking for at least one Cotton Service Rifle Web Sling, starting a service rifle team in my unit, and my cotton one is wearing out.

Not interested in nylon web slings.

I was hoping that someone locally would have one they were willing to part with. The sling I have gotten from the CMP is a nylon sling, and now I am suspicious of most sellers ability to determine the difference between nylon and cotton.

Just don't want to go through the hassle of paying for something and then sending it back if it is the wrong thing. The current GI slings of that sort that my unit has are the nylon M1 slings.

Pat, is the sling that you got from Appleseed actually cotton or is it nylon?

Cotton. I have 3 now. Love them. They seem identical to the ones we had on the M-14. Same quick release/adjust.
