Meet THOMAS JOSEPH HEBEN, our newest inductee into the SF Poser Patrol “Hall of Shame” Facebook page.

Thomas has claimed for years to be a graduate of the Special Forces qualification course and a former member of 3rd Special Forces Group. He also claimed to have served in Afghanistan with SF and left the service as a Staff Sergeant (SSG/E6). He lied to his family, friends and employer(s).The fact is, he never completed the selection process to even attempt Special Forces training and was "discharged" from the Army as a Specialist 4 (E-4).
He did attempt Special Forces Assessment and Selection only to be dropped the first time for unknown reasons and on second attempt he "quit".

Then Thomas Joesph Heben met his biggest obstacle and failed again. He couldn't surpass the scrutiny of tried and true Special Forces soldiers. A brotherhood like no other, and one that he'll never again be able to falsely claim he is part of. A Special Forces soldier he is not, a liar and fraud sums him up nicely.

EDIT: The attached apology was submitted only after he was backed into a corner and I believe to take any heat off his brother. While it seems sincere, he's only really sorry because he got caught. It should be also known that he was given an outline of what the apology had to include.

In the FOIA disclosure it says that he was discharged after being AWOL. In most cases that would be at a minimum a General Discharge. It is not known whether that is in fact the case. Discharges are not revealed in FOIA requests unless it involved a Courts-Martial.

What a bunch of FLUFF and BS....He was notified over 5 weeks about his brother Thomas Joseph Heben, Liar and Fraud and took no action until he realized everyone involved was serious and presented with irrefutable documents. If that's immediately taking action, I'd hate to see him take his time.

Below is a statement SOFREP received from Chris Heben this afternoon.
All,

I was first notified of this very serious issue with my brother Tom by a very good SF buddy as well as by two other SOF brothers. I was very shocked and very concerned when I was presented with the details of his actual Military record. It was a complete surprise to me. I immediately took the proper steps to mitigate and to correct the situation. I contacted my brother and counseled him and then acted as a conduit for communications between all the aforementioned parties. I do not condone my brothers actions, and I expressed my thoughts on this to him as well as to my SOF brothers. Additionally, I also told Tom that I love him am I proud of him for coming clean, and that I am also proud of him for his service in the U.S. Army.

I agree and as I have said elsewhere, there are some serious character issues with Chris. JMHO.

Thomas Heben , this bottom feeding scumbag didn't "come clean", he was exposed as a fraud and lair.... Coming clean doesn't happen AFTER you're caught.

Thomas Heben will always be known as a bottom feeding scumbag.
