Question Tin foil sources, who are they?

Ok for the last week with all that has gone on from the Monday morning bombs to risen letters to the explosion in TX our resident Tin Foil hat wearer in the office has been spinning out of control. When in the office each day I will pass him and ask what new crisis has happened and he goes though a half a dozen web postings spinning links of obscure facts and making wild assumptions that have no foundation. The Agent who sits across from him thinks he is going to launch and really wishes I would not wind him up every 2 hrs.

I was thinking about the sites he seams to hang on and live his life and thought we should collect a listing of Internet sources that we feel are Tinfoil sites and reliable and responsable sites reporting facts not fiction/tinfoil chatter.

So we will have the following catagories:

1. Tinfoil sites. (good for a laugh but just out there)
2. Report information but can not rely on the facts being checked.
3. Talking heads just talking to hear them talk.
4. Reliable news/ discussions trying to get facts out there.
5. Political spin and not reliable

Here are a few to start off with.

Www.whitehouse.gov(2 & 3,5)
Www.SOFREP.com (3)
PS.com (4)
Any congressional web page (2,3,5)

Since I do not live on the Internet looking a dozens of sites help me sort out what my tinfoil buddy's are reading so when they say it was on xxx I know not to pay any attention to it.

Interesting idea. I would find that useful too. in that same vein, I have been wondering how many of the "tin foil hat" sites are actually legitimate counter-intelligence efforts to identify and track nut cases like suspect #1 from the marathon bombing?

Anything with Alex Jones (infowars) or Glen Beck (the blaze) has to be on the list!

I get a lot of good info from Huffpo, but they're extremely irritating what with the abject imbecility of the comments.

Did you say "agent"? That's a little disturbing.

Here is what is most disturbing LTC (MI) USAR, Special Agent and he calls him self a Lawyer. I refuse to call him a lawyer as he has never taken the bar and has never practiced.... He is just a law school graduate.

He is the poster child for Tinfoil Hat
