Cuomo Close To Announcing Sweeping New Gun Control Laws

And the Sheeple speak.....

We're poor little lambs
who have lost our way,
Baa Baa Baa,

We're little black sheep
who have gone astray
Baa Baa Baa

Gentlemen songsters off on a spree
doomed from here to eternity,
Lord, have mercy on such as we,
Baa Baa Baa.

“There’s just too many incidents that are happening that you think could be avoided if there were stronger regulations about it,” one mother from Larchmont said, adding when asked if her children’s safety is her motivation, “Absolutely, I mean you can’t even send them to school now. Now my kids have police in front of their school. I mean you wonder how far it’s going to go.”

“I think it’s necessary with everything that’s happening,” Mamaroneck resident Gail Nubile added. “With the recent things that have been going on it does make you think that things to be happening, so you have to be extra cautious.”
Who can shepherd this flock.....Why Andrew Cuomo can shepherd them to safety!!!

The demographics for both communities would rank them in the 1% for income and real estate tax base in NYS.

Via WiKipedia-According to a 2009 estimate,[8] the median income for a household in the village was $165,375, and the median income for a family was $204,695. The per capita income for the village was $109,664. About 1.6% of families and 2.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 1.5% of those under age 18 and 5.1% of those age 65 or over.

The median income for Mamaroneck was $84,213, and the median income for a family was $118,774 (these figures had risen to $108,702 and $144,834 respectively as of a 2007 estimate[5]). Males had a median income of $81,249 versus $42,703 for females. The per capita income for the town was $57,822. About 2.9% of families and 4.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 3.7% of those under age 18 and 7.1% of those age 65 or over.

Recovery hell, he'll have the gangstas on the payroll and supply them with firearms like BATFE did.

Before I get crucified as anti-2nd Amendment, let me say that I do support the 2nd Amendment in its original meaning and want an armed 'militia'!

However, I am not a member of the NRA, in part because most of the people I know who were I deemed to be assholes.

I have read their publication...usually on Saturdays in my barbershop(s) - my barbers are usually old and have a habit of dying. IF there is misunderstanding as to the true meaning of the 2nd Amendment over the past 40 years or so, the NRA is, at least, in part to blame. Their ads extol the hunting and sport shooting aspects - and leave out any references to an "armed citizenry".

The "militia" prior to the civil war called up by the state (conscription). Each state provided an armed militia and they fought as a unit hence 15th Maryland Reg. etc., The state funded the militia not the federal government. There is nothing in the Constitution supporting a "standing army" only a navy. It was the duty of the states in accordance with "national defense" to supply the militia. It was then federalized and deployed. Once the deployment was over, the unit returned to the state. The National Guard does not meet the militia litmus test as it is federalized and it is standing.

I didn't say all NRA members were assholes, just most of those I met back in a bygone era when I considered joining. (They were 'country club' shotgunner types, some with some weird views about who should and should not own firearms.)

Of course, there is always this on the subject:
