Business as usual

Thoughts out to everyone in the path of the storm, especially these gents.

Quote:
Soldiers of the 3rd Inf Reg. continue to stand guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, despite the worsening weather conditions surrounding Hurricane Sandy. The tomb has been guarded continuously since 1948.
Taken this morning.

Amazing photo too. You can see the rain coming down at an angle...almost completely perpendicular to their rifles...and they are "locked up."

Love that we still have, Duty, Honor, and Country as a way of life.

My heart is out to those Men who guard and hold sacred something worth more than most of us civilians deserve to even see.

Gives hope, IMHO, for Our Country.

God Bless America, and God Bless Our Soldiers.
