Dan,
I just removed the 2 pics that you posted. Before you play here, you had better peruse all of the "Please Read" and "Stickies" that we have at the start of this Board !! I do not suggest that you post anything that you were not personally involved in at that time !!

Interesting SF Pic's Discussion about using other folk's pics
Damn dude, do you not know where you are? Look around. Read the profiles of the guys with "Quiet Professional" for titles. Read the descriptions of the photos posted - notice anything common? The people who posted the pics were either in them or took the pics.
Do you see us coming over to homeloan.com and posting pictures of our houses?
Get right or get gone.

I think a more appropriate analogy would be going to homeloan.com and posting pics of other people's cool houses that their realtors took, and you just copied.

The majority of the inhabitants of militaryphotos.com would find themselves probably not very comfortable here. Dont understand the very few users who seem to have any real world credits posting there, SOCNET and here they would find much better place to discuss.

It is militaryphotos.net. One of the moderators is from 10th Group. Socnet's SGTROCK and a few others have posted there from time to time. There's a guy there named Zapp Brannigan who bears a startling resemblance to me.
The site is full of idiots, high school wannabes and nevergonnabes, and really ought to be more aggressively moderated, especially to get rid of racists and hate-mongerers, but also trolls who start threads for no reason but to provoke fights. But unlike SOCNET and here, the site is far more comfortable for foreigners, especially with problematic commands of English. Besides you and a couple of Israelis and people from English-speaking countries (UKAUCANZ), there aren't too many foreign posters there or here. Some (maybe most) of the milphotos foreigners are also idiots and trolls, but there are also a number of serving soldiers and veterans from the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Israel and a slew of other countries who can offer a different perspective on things. It was from one of the Spanish soldiers there that I learned how the media had twisted its reporting of Spanish popular opinion (Spaniards did oppose the invasion of Iraq, but once it happened they overwhelming supported Spain's participation in Iraq's occupation and reconstruction) and I learned what many Spanish soldiers felt about their new government's craven withdrawal.
It is difficult separating the wheat from the chaff, and as noted I wish the moderators did a better job, but there is still stuff to be learned there. Also, the daily pics thread there is like a good illustrated Early Bird.

I don't want to hijack here, but about 2 years ago I was looking through a local real estate guide, and I find some jack-hole realtor has a photo of my last house (now a rental) with the words "FORECLOSED BUY FOR LESS" printed over it. He couldn't understand why I was so rude to him on the phone, fucking Zig Ziggler wanna-be that he is.
This has been a test of the Thread Hijack Alert System. If this had been a real hijack, NDD would have posted something about Geographically Induced Consequences, and instructions on the 25 different ways I could go fuck myself would be posted. We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread...

Correct. Just a little friendly advice "en français" to prevent loss of the intention during translation.

DF,
What you don't know is that ALL of the PICTURES that I dumped were WATERMARKED, ie STOLEN from someone's web site !! When something gets posted in here, you'd better be able to back it up and, quite possibly explain (POSSIBLY IN AN EXTREMELY PRIVATE FORUM) WTFO !!!! What we post in here is intended to be used both in an entertaining AND educational way.
Be careful here Sport. You really don't want me on your backtrail !!!
Martin
