Gentlemen,
Can anyone give me any information on this M14 variant? Looks like it has maybe an ultimak rail mounted and some kind of a specialized break but otherwise I have no idea what I'm looking at.
Thanks!!

Rocketman, go back and read the instructions you received when you signed up and comply with them before posting again.
If they are no longer go here and read the rules. http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/...ead.php?t=3452

You have no idea what you're looking at because you didn't do any basic research. Sorta like you failed to read the instructions you recieved when you signed onto PS.com. I would recommend starting over again from square one - with an introduction, just like everybody else does.
BTW - It's probably a varient of a BM-59.

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

My appologies to all. Posted in Intro:
Former US Marine 1975-1978. (3yr enlistment option) MOS 0351 Assaultman. Alpha Co 1st Bn 4th Marines, Golf Co 2nd Bn 6th Marines, Weapons Plt. Father was a Marine pilot (SNJ, Hellcat, AD-1 Skyraider and F9F Panther) Youngest son just left the Marine Corps and oldest son is a Marine student Naval Aviator with VT-3 in Pensacola.
With respect I did do basic research but the BM-59 didn't come up. Obviously I didn't search hard enough. Point taken and next time I'll look harder. Thanks for setting me straight AND answering the question.

Part of the job. Thanks for volunteering to be an object lesson - and for the good graces to get with the program without a lot of drama.

You're going to do just fine here.
Welcome aboard Marine.
