Posers, Frauds

First of all, I was never a member of the 5th Special Forces. I served as a Combat Medic with the 173rd Airborne in Vietnam during 1968/69. I live in a very small town in Colorado. A new part time neighbor moved in to the town a couple years ago. He has been telling people he is a Vietnam Veteran and was in "The Special Forces".

I asked him a few questions one day on a friendly basis. He told me he had been with the 101st Airborne. I asked him when he was in the Nam. He couldn't remember. I asked him what his MOS was, he said, I was in the Infantry. Well, most guys would have said Eleven Bravo. He did not know what I was talking about when I mentioned Hamburger Hill. He is currently 59 years old. Had he been with the 101st he certainly would have known about June 10th of 1969 which of course would have been prior to him being in Vietnam since he would have only been 17 that year.

I think the guy is a lying Bastage and a fake. He is also a P-rick. Does anyone know how we can find out about this guy. I do not like Fakes, Frauds and Posers.

Thank you for pointing out my mistake. I am glad you like to pay attention to detail. Apparently the details do not pertain to spelling, however.

Years ago I did some skydiving myself. I have never done "skyding" however. What exactly is that?

Only thing I am interested in is exposing "Posers". Most Vietnam Veterans such as myself do not appreciate these types. Whether or not my post indicating this was my first or second post is of no importance.

Why do you think he is not? Not all SF share the same ideology. If he has experiences that lead to his posting a You Tube video, then he has absolutely every right to do so. For you, a guest , to post his opinion in the Poser, Frauds section of our house is a little bit over the line for me. Do you have proof he is not what he claims or do you just not like his message?
