Banned Super Bowl Ad

CBS says it didn't ban the ad, but merely had sold out of all available ad space. KGB submitted four ads to CBS. This one didn't make it.

Smart marketing - submit an ad that you know can't be accepted because of language and visually inappropriate content - and then reap the rewards of global exposure as it goes viral on the WWW and YouTube for being 'banned.'

You hit it on the head. That's one way to cut your advertising costs for the Super Bowl (estimated to be $2.6M for a 30 second spot this year) and still get the ad out.

Funny thing is, I have no recollection of what the commercial was about. I just have this image in my head of a guy "with his head up is ass" and it obliterates all other thoughts.
