Bad Paintjob

I get it, not everybody wants their rifle to blend in with the surroundings. This one just caused me mental anguish due to the type of rifle that was painted.

What's the environment that deserves this kind of dazzle-paint? Rigel-II? Deep Space Nine? Geez!
