Looks like Mr. Le Trung has one up (no pun intended) on Howard Stern's 'Real Doll'. And he lives in Brampton which is about 20 minutes from Toronto, hmmmmmm . . .

If you need to know what an introvert was, and had no idea what that was....well Mr. Le Trung might help define that for you.

A female "Data" has been started.

Interesting...

There is a fellow named Kurzweil who supposes that rapid increases in computer capability will lead to the following:

Some prominent dates from this analysis include the following:

We achieve one Human Brain capability (2 * 10^16 cps) for $1,000 around the year 2023.
We achieve one Human Brain capability (2 * 10^16 cps) for one cent around the year 2037.
We achieve one Human Race capability (2 * 10^26 cps) for $1,000 around the year 2049.
We achieve one Human Race capability (2 * 10^26 cps) for one cent around the year 2059.

So...according to him...in 15 years, one might imbue the android with the equivalent of a human brain for $1000.

(Much, much more at LINK )

Question 1: What happens if we can produce android troops as intelligent as a human for a low price per unit?

Question 2: What happens if we can produce factory and service workers as intelligent as a human for a low price (no wages).

Question 3: What do we say when they seek to date our daughter?

All purely rhetorical, of course.

For anyone interested in the advance of technology and where we may be 20, 50 or even 100 years from now,
Ray Kuzweil's book "The Singularity is Near" is worth picking up...

Ray advises Bill Gates as a futurist and serves on the Defense Science Board.

But can she get you a beer? I think not.

If she supposedly has the ability to work all day, and can't get you a frosty from the fridge, then I think she is vastly inferior to our human women. Makes me wonder what kind of work he has her doing.

Though, I'm sure if he put HALF the effort into getting a woman as he did in building that thing he'd have one by now.
And if he put half the money in, he could've had at least 20 women by now.
